Chicken Best Before Yesterday - was cooked on Saturday - Still Edible?

OK so I had two lovely organic chicken breasts, finally cooked them on Saturday in a nice chicken and pasta dish but no opportunity to eat as been out most of weekend...

It said on packet to eat by Sunday, but is that cook by Sunday but still ok to eat the next day once cooked, or am I being optimistic? Also, they have obviously been cooked 48 hours now anyway, so should I really just throw the lot out? I am in early stages of pregnancy which makes me more wary...

Oh they'll be fine. No worries AT ALL.

So long as they were cooked in time and stored properly since then they should be fine.

Phew, if I wasn't pregnant I wouldn't have thought twice about it. I had a theory that cooking them gave them a day or two extra life, but thought it could be very wrong . Thanks ladies.
