pink lemonade cake

we had a slice of pink lemonade cake while out for coffee/cake last week - it was rather nice!

does any one have a uk recipe we could try - google brings up loads of american recipes with butter milk etc which seems odd to me

im not an adventurous baker but can knock up a lemon drizzle cake, im confused at how a pink lemonade cake can be so complicated ....i have a bottle of strawberry/lemon cordial in readiness

help please!

I've not made it, but this recipe doesn't use butter milk. It does require frozen lemonade concentrate though, but I would think you could substitute your cordial for it instead

Confectioners sugar is icing sugar

You can get hold of buttermilk easily, its in most supermarkets.
