Stir fry sauce?

I’ve only ever bought the sauce but have just gone to my last pack to discover it is a year out of date!
How can I quickly make another sauce, or would you chance the out of date sauce?

I'd open it and use it unless it smelled rank or the packet was very swollen. It's only a bunch of spices, sugar, soy sauce and oil probably, right?

Otherwise, toss in fresh garlic, ginger, spring onions, and drizzle with soy sauce to taste and sesame oil if you have it. If you want a bit of sweet gloop, sweet chili sauce can give you some of that too.

Depends what you have in the cupboard. Soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, fresh chilli, Chinese 5 spice?

Pretty much any of these mixed together will make a decent sauce
