Looking for healthy recipes for 5 yo to take to school please, ie items that can be pre cooked / baked, possibly frozen. Ie muffins etc but with healthy ingredients and no sugar.

Banana pancakes-

2 bananas, cup of oats. 1 egg.Honey to sweeten. (Can add blueberries etc)
Add more oats if need to thicken.

Blend up and dollop in a pan with coconut or any similar oil. I usually do approx 6cm in diameter about 1cm thick.

This makes loads! They can be frozen. Can be heated for brekkie with natural yoghurt or just taken for a snack. My boys love them.

You say no sugar but please be aware that many of the recipes that claim to be sugar free include things like honey/maple syrup etc which are are ....sugar - your body treats it all the same

Try googling baby led weaning recipes. They can easily be adapted for older children but often are ‘clean eating’ type of recipes with no added sugar or salt. Natalie Peall has some excellent apps and I use them for my 6 month old and nearly 3 year old.
