some nice hard cheeses and picallili or relishes

Artichoke hearts in olive oil and a little salad with balsamic dressing/syrup

some nice hardish cheeses like ;
emmental , Jarlsberg , Gruyere I not sure about it pregnancy wise , LOVE it though. OHH and pecorino also pasteurised version.

oohh and buy some ready made crepes and have either sweet or savoury, Freeze them with a layer of baking paper in between so u can keep them longer.

Freah Fruit fruit fruit I used to just chop a watermelon in half and sit there with a spoon munching away

heaps of skim/no fat milk with chocolate powder for a naughty skack - friends are amazed my childern weren't chocolate frogs ( a fave snck food here in oz)

bagels are soo yum with tomatoe or cheese and cereal - bowls of it if you can

I became a 'grazer'whilst pregnant and have been that way ever since and apparently it is a healthy way to eat

Nbg · 09/06/2007 13:32

Oooh I love watermelon.

I was thinking of things that I can keep in the cupboard or fridge that will last a while.

Mr Kipling Fruit Pies - well it says fruit on the box so it must be healthy, yes?

burstingbug · 09/06/2007 13:34

bake cakes?
they store well for a while

burstingbug · 09/06/2007 13:36

flapjacks?

MadamePlatypus · 09/06/2007 13:51

oatcakes.

Or just accept that you can't get rid of the munchies, and buy loads of fruit and no biscuits.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 09/06/2007 13:51

get some crispbreads and put cream cheese / ham / strawberries / erm / cheese / hummous / salad on

FrannyandZooey · 09/06/2007 13:53

Can you not have any nuts? Most pregnant women are only advised to avoid peanuts AFAIK

how about pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cook your own flapjacks, dried fruit, malt loaf, cut up veg with hummus to dip, fresh fruit, no salt crisps, oatcakes, bagels, yogurts

pinkspottywellies · 09/06/2007 14:04

Yoghurt with a handful of museli thrown in. Cereal bars. erm, chocolate, chocolate biscuits, chocolate cake
