is it okay to give 10 month old pesto?

Think it is slightly salty but I would say yes. (not tried it on DD though)

Bought pesto is terribly salty, so personally I wouldn't. But a 10mo would probably be happy with plain pasta anyway!

I used to give mine fresh pesto at that age. Otherwise a little butter on the pasta if no cheese perhaps.

dd loved it at that age. you don't need much, and can cut it with more olive oil. add frozen peas to the pasta and they cook off the heat of the pasta, while simultaneously cooling the whole meal down to baby temp.
