Do you know of any UK stockists of tinned pumpkin pie filling, or, if you make it yourself, do you just use a regular carving pumpkin?

Thanks

Its usually in tesco or asda in the small american foods section on the world food aisle.

I make my own using a regular carving pumpkin. 🎃

Waitrose used to stock puréed pumpkin, but I haven’t seen it in a while.

Tesco and asda dont have it online but ocado do

I saw it in Waitrose last week.

My pumpkin pie tale:
Made one, out of the tinned stuff, family was very, very underwhelmed.
We were due to go away for the w/end, so I left it for the neighbour who was feeding my cat.
Assuming it was some sort of quiche-alike thing she served it to her husband with a baked spud and some salads....

Definitely in Waitrose have bought in Sainsbury’s before now as well.

I’ve usually found it in big Tesco stores.

Carving pumpkins are not usually much use for eating - the little, slightly pointed orange ones are far better for eating. The Keith Abel recipe here is a good one if you’re making from scratch.

Brilliant thanks for all your responses, will check out Waitrose first.

Jen that really made me laugh!

Urbane I will look at that recipe if I can't get tinned. I thought that carving pumpkins might taste a bit meh.
