Smells and tastes good. Keep for Christmas or bin?

Taste would be my guide, if the suet had gone off it would not be nice, but both the booze and sugar are preservatives so it's fine. The only problem I've had with older mincemeat is that it tends to dry out, just add more booze off that happens

yes, so long as it is not fizzing or trying to escape the jar of its own volition

I have a couple of shop jars form the year before last...dh went bargain hunting post christmas and came back with a box full for pennies.
