Looking for the wise mind of mumsnet please...
I would like to make my son an orangutan shaped birthday cake (ideally a sitting up one rather than just the face). However - I have never made a birthday cake before so don’t know if it would be utter madness to try...? Does anyone have any top tips, starting points etc?
Or is this mission impossible?
If it helps, I’m pretty good a clay modelling so reckon I have some skill in that sense...
