Super easy baking ideas with a young toddler?

Call me a glutton for punishment but this afternoon I'm going to attempt baking for the first time with my little boy. He's 17 months! We are making chocolate crispie cakes. If it's a success, then hopefully it's something we can do more often.

What other recipes can I try with a young toddler that are super easy? Thanks.

Ready made Sainsbury dessert pastry.

Roll it out, cut shapes, bake.
Makes lovely biscuits.

The next step is 1-2-3 biscuits, butter, flour sugar in 1 2 3 proportions. You'd need to check the internet for which is which.

Not baking but my son’s nursery recently did ‘watermelon pizza’ so slices of watermelon with a other chopped up fruit to top. They did jam instead of tomato sauce but I’d have thought fruit smoothie/natural yog just as good!
Otherwise fairy cakes? Basic sponge mix - or you could prebake and just let them decorate?
Embrace the mess and have fun!

I used to decorate digestive biscuits with my toddler. It’s means they can totally get involved as opposed to you doing all the baking x

Pizza is really easy and fun for kids to make.

Pizza here. We still make it. If you are desperate it can take all day - make dough, knead, leave to rise, shape, top, eat. At least 5 toddler activity sessions
