I have a Covent Garden fresh chicken and veg soup dated 8th June and a Arla yoghurt dated 30th June - both unopened and kept in a fridge - can I get away with eating them?! They were both brought as extras by Ocado , I didn't actually want them in the first place

I’d eat the yoghurt but not the soup.

Yutes · 03/08/2018 18:57

I wouldn’t touch either now tbh

tigercub50 · 03/08/2018 19:01

It’s August so definitely bin them both

shoofly · 03/08/2018 19:02

I'd bin the soup and use my eyes and nose to make a judgement call on the yogurt

dementedpixie · 03/08/2018 19:03

No I wouldn't as they are more than a month out of date. They will be use by dates too rather than best before

Yoghurt, yes, if it's not mouldy when you open it.

Soup no!

DramaAlpaca · 03/08/2018 19:24

The soup definitely not.

The yogurt I'd eat as long as it smelled & tasted OK.

Thanks all!
