I don't want to fry the fish in batter I get a bad belly from it

I never fry it. Either put it on the gas bbq or stick in the oven. I don't use a batter though - just marinade the fish in spices, cut into pieces and cook in the oven.

That's what I am thinking if I just BBQ it or roast it in seasoning then flake
Do you do peppers with them or just fresh vegetables

I do pan-fried mackerel fillets served in soft tacos with sour cream, avocado, lettuce, coriander, raw onion and a big squeeze of lime juice. It's my favourite quick meal!

Fish fingers or fish goujons work well.

It was so delicious
I did blackened cod
Home made salsa of lime tomato coriander and spring onion
Guac
Sliced and suated onion and pepper
Soft shell taco

You can dust it with flavoured flour and bake

too late since you've already had it but I make a green sauce using sour cream, lime juice and coriander and also a very basic coleslaw with sliced cabbage and spring onions and a dressing with sour cream, mayo and lime juice. Also serve pico de gallo (chopped toms, red onion, chilli and coriander)
