Can you refreeze raw mince (burgers)?

I have defrosted more mince than necessary for tonight so want to make burgers for in the week. I’ve read info that you obviously dont refreeze raw meat but when making burgers its better to freeze them raw?

If I cook and freeze them, will frying them again later make them overdone?

Just reforming the shape of the mince isn’t enough. I think your options are to either cook the burgers now or chuck the mince/use it in something else.

No, you shouldn't re-freeze it without cooking it first.

Thanks thats what I thought. I’ve seen an old thread on here and some food forums saying freeze them raw (for the taste/not to overcook later I guess) and thought it doesnt sound right!
