£25 cost for 4pound boneless joint.
It was worth every penny as it was so succulent .We used Delias method for roasting(off the Internet) and the Tesco meat thermometer for testing the correct temperature, cost £1.94.(medium,dead easy)It really was beautiful and filled the house with a lovely aroma. We did a starter of prawn cocktail and finished with bought apple pie and custard. The joint will do our family of four 3 good evening meals if padded out with bought roast potato, veg, yorkshire puds and gravy. For an old fashioned roast dinner it couldnt have been bettered. It was for our friends coming round for sunday lunch and they really enjoyed it but especially the beautiful roast beef.
