lol at filly.

Make adult meatball, cut in half, et voila!

pmsl filly.

Make the meatballs, skewer each ball with three sticks of speghetti, cook in tomato soup and you get....

SPIDER SOUP!

Actually, no, if the baby is on meat they will be on wheat too (if no allergies). DOH! (Is it??) (Am I starting to sound like the bloke off the fast show?)

Minced beef
Breadcrumbs (same volume)
Milk to mix
Seasoning if your baby likes this. I like adding squashed anchovies BUT this is salty and only suitable for use in small quantities in babies over a year.

Roll into baby-sized balls (You lot - BACK OFF )
Place on baking thing (whatever you have - I line with a teflon sheet too which is great if you have one)
Bake at about gas mark 5 until browned.

Damn - forgot - fry some onions til caramelised and puree. Add to mix

mince mixed in with egg, cooked onions, breadcrumbs and any herbs you want. Shape into metballs. I usuallly brown them (and ditch the fat) before baking in a tomato/veg sauce (courgettes, red peppers etc blitzed with a tin of toms - can add garlic/herbs depending on your LOs taste - mine loved garic from a very early age!)

Hmmm...might do meatballs tomorrow....

baby organix did a recipe back in 2005 not sure if it's still on their website:

www.babyorganix.co.uk

it was called mini meatballs in herby tomato sauce, i have served it with cous cous for toddlers and they love it every time i serve it (plus DH too! added bonus!!), add diffreent herbs and things in for a stronger taste, have always added garlic for instance.

if a problem finding it on the website post on here to let me know and i'll find the recipe and post later
