Summer buffet - what would you most like to see?

Going to have a few people over at the weekend for a bit of a buffet (would never have believed that I'd be bored with barbeques, but here we are). What summer garden/picnicky bits go down well. Dh has already requested egg and bacon pie, and coleslaw, but other than that I've no specific ideas.

Crustless sandwiches
Salads
Quiche
Smoked Salmon
Mini sausage rolls

Bi

Big platter watermelon, strawberries and grapes

Bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil

Croissants with ham and smoked cheese (takes a few mins in the oven)

Parma ham platter

Chutney/cheese/crackers

Pizza, homemade sausage rolls, prawn cocktail,

Egg and bacon pie and coleslaw sound great!

I like:

picnic eggs (the mini scotch eggs)

Coronation chicken (could be in sandwiches)

traditional sandwiches e.g. egg and cress, tuna mayo, Cheddar and pickle (but can be tricky to keep bread from not going hard)

beetroot hummus - a recent discovery. Seems lighter than traditional hummus and it looks so pretty on a buffet table too?

Watermen and feta cheese salad is lovely.. google recipe.

Retro cheese & pineapple on sticks!

Mixed bean salad.

Sticky BBQ sausages - either chipolatas or mini sausages cooked and coated in a sticky BBQ sauce, served cold.

Fruit salad or fruit kebabs, very refreshing in the hot weather.

Oh another good one is mini tricolour salad sticks - with mini mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes and basil on sticks.

And a big ol' jug of sangria.

Potato salad and lots of pimms. 😍😍
