Looking for squash drinks that still have sugar in.

Background; Youngest daughter: had severe IUGR, severe failure to thrive and has hovered round the 0.4th. Has to have a very high calorie diet just to maintain her weight. Has benign bone tumours from fibeorous dysplasia. She is due to have another hip op next month.

My big problem is the sugar-tax. In principle its fine, a good idea for most but the reality has me pulling my hair out. My daughter will only drink fluids when she is in a lot of post-op pain...the rub is she is only supposed to have fruit squashes that contain real sugar and no sweetners in as she needs the extra energy. She does not like Ribena when she has morphine based drugs as it makes her sick. Lucazade has removed sugar too. All the peach and similar squashes I can find are sugar free. I would make my own but it does need to be a made squash to be kept on the ward for her.

Help- suggestions of brands and flavours that still contain sugar needed before she goes in to hospital in two weeks time.

Sounds glib but the way I locate these is by going onto the online shops of the supermarkets, going to the squashes/cordials section and sorting price high to low Hmm. Et voila, usually there are the non sugar free drinks.
Hi-juices and cordials are your best bet or slightly hipper brands stocked at places like Waitrose.
You can add dissolvable glucose tablets to any drink and they come in various flavours , amazon sell loads if thats helpful, as well as electrolyte additives which are super for a boost. I'm not sure if she is in some way intolerant to the artificial sweeteners (I am) or you're just after the sugar boost she needs so ignore if unhelpful! Smile

Asda sell Hartridges squash which seems to be full sugar.
