Dried out LeCrueset handles....help

I've inherited a set of le Creuset pans and stand from my mum and other than one burnt the handle they are lovely......EXCEPT she put them through the dishwasher many times and has dried out the handles a LOT....
Does anyone know what I can do to recondition the handles as they are bloody expensive to replace and if I can get them usable I will replace them one every couple of months ( money's tight as we are moving house). Any suggestions very gratefully received

Are they wooden handles? You can use Danish Oil to recondition wood, but make sure it's soaked in and thoroughly dry before using as it's a bit flammable otherwise.

Yes they are the wooden handles. I will look for the Danish stuff. Smile

Write to Le Creuset. They have sent me out a new handle before for free when I dropped a pan.

Might just drop them an email Smile
