Hi, planning on a family gathering for my son's 2nd birthday. Saturday lunch in July.

For kids I'll do chicken goujons, sticky glazed sausages, pesto pasta salad, cucumber, corn cobs and maybe some jersey royals.

For adults, I was thinking we could also have jersey royals, corn cobs, pesto pasta salad and then do a green salad, quiche, coleslaw and maybe salmon?! Or ham? If salmon would you serve it hot or cold? Is hot weird with cold salads? Any other ideas for family summer lunch?

Thanks

If I were serving salmon then I would do cold poached and would probably also serve some asparagus and a lemony mayonnaise. I know that not everyone is a fan of fish though so would probably serve another protein like a spatchcock mildly spiced or rotisserie chicken(s)
