Will this cake freeze ?

Currently in the oven but need it Saturday, (as I'm in work the rest of the week won't have time to bake closer) so was planning to freeze then defrost overnight Friday. Will it be ok if well wrapped ?

Its not a click link for me but I find chocolate cake freezes very well.

The sponge will freeze fine if you wrap well in cling film. Defrost on Friday night and ice on Saturday. Alternatively you could ice now and put in an airtight container, it should be fine for Saturday
