Somebody pleeeaaase help me sort out my appalling diet????!

Basically I eat shit.
No excuse but I live on coffee,wine,carbs-the occasional croissant or sandwich.
I do cook lovely healthy suppers for DH and myself about 3 times a week (DS's have a fantastic diet too) but I am just dreadful during the day.
It would never occur to me to eat a piece of fruit but I don't dislike it and I do love vegetables.
I think laziness plays a part during the day. Its much easier to make a coffee and have a cigarette than prepare some food and tbh I have no inspiration.
I'm not overweight-thin infact-but obviously a VERY unhealthy thin.
I'm TTC too so really need to sort myself out.
Someone please kick me up my scrawny arse.

Remember old wives tale about the calories it takes to digest are more than the calories in it!!!

That's a good point about insoluble fibre like celery. Try more soluble fibre if you're trying to gain weight: potatoes, pasta, less wholegrain stuff, soups and pureed veg, quinoa (boak), and da da da daaaah porridge. Eat it! It's good for what ails ya
