Make sure you add the sugar slowly, and bake it low and slow. I don't have an actual recipe, but they're the mistakes I generally make.

Keep the speed low/medium on the kitchen aid until you add the sugar.
Some people swear by cornflour or cream of tatar or vinegar additions.
Really good quality baking parchment, lined with ricepaper if you are happy to leave that on the bottom.
What usually goes wrong?

They are always too small no matter how many eggs I use and seem to be flat and leaking sugar
I’m a competent baker not great by any means but these just seem to defeat me
I use lemon to endure the mixing bowl is spotless
I thought may I’m just not using a good recipe
Get me trying to pass the blame!!!

Maybe use the KitchenAid to bear the egg whites, then add the sugar slowly and incorporate it by hand with a metal spoon (e.g. serving spoon). Should be only just incorporated to avoid knocking air out.

When you're putting it on the baking sheet, avoid touching it. Spoon from the bowl rather than piping.
