Hi,
We are having a street party this weekend to celebrate the big event (ooh what drama so far! Hope Mr Merle makes it. Anyone k is if he walked her down the aisle wedding number 1?) Anyhoo so everyone bringing a dish to share. Any ideas? We are already putting on a vat of Pimms and cooking for a bake off so thinking something simple quick and cheap!!!
Thanks
Xx

I would probably go for sausage rolls or cocktail sausages with a selection of dips

Pasta salad - tuna, mayo, sweet corn & pasta
Sausage rolls (the mini Greggs ones from Iceland are lovely!)
Pineapple & cheese on sticks
Cucumber sandwiches
Mini Yorkshire puddings with horseradish and roast beef

Go American. Big platter of crudités with ranch dip, big bowl of tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa (or seven layer dip if you really want to impress) or warm spinach & artichoke dip with flatbreads. All staples of my American relatives' parties!

I know it’s not a coronation but I think a royal street party needs coronation chicken!
Failing that a puff pastry tart with roasted med veg, homemade dough sticks or a big cous cous salad with pomegranate jewels! I’m quite jealous now, quite fancy a street party but unfortunately I’ll be working.
