how to weigh out treacle....?!

Have a recipe that requires 75g of black treacle and 25g of golden syrup... How do I most easily and accurately weigh them out? And is there a ml or fluid oz equivalent I should use instead? Hmm

Stick the tin on the scales. Zero the scales. Spoon out the treacle until the scales show minus the correct amount.

Assuming you have scales then keep weighing the tins as you take dollops out until they're reduced by the amounts you want.

Weigh it on top of the other dry ingredients. Coat the spoon in oil first.

@Murane I wish I had a clear incisive mind like you obviously have.

i have balance scales so I do the balance version of what Murane has said.

balance tin with weights, remove 75g of weights, spoon treacle into mixing bowl until treacle tin rebalances.
