I made lovely scones today & enjoyed it as I don't get to bake much
They came out so good! Nigela recipe & I added cheese
But they had a bitter after taste also like too much salt
I used slightly salted butter as it's all I had & possibly my spoons of cream of tartar were too big?! Would that cause it?
Gutted is a understatement 😩
