Okay, I have chicken breast, 1 pint of cream, pasta/ potatoes, peas - what can I make?

With herbs (tarragon is my favourite) fry chicken in butter (add garlic if you like) then pour over cream and add herbs, salt and pepper and cook for a while to reduce the sauce a little. Cook pasta or make mashed potatoes, depending on what you fancy. Cook peas. Put chicken and pasta/potatoes on plate, pour over the tarragon cream and serve with peas.

Oops forgot to say I'm in the US!

Yes, I have pesto, but only 1 egg! No fresh herbs (dried oregano though)

French mustard? Make the same but with a mustard sauce?
You don't have to use the cream I suppose. Just fry the chicken and crushed parboiled potatoes with plenty of black pepper and serve with peas. Then have the cream with pudding.

Ok Pesto Chicken Pasta

Cut chicken into strips and stir fry until cooked through. You could add strips of peppers or perhaps sundried tomotoes.

Stir in couple of spoonfuls of pesto.

Stir in cream (quantity depends on how wicked you feel).

Mix through cooked pasta.

For a mustard sauce I'd simply heat the cream and stir in a small amount of mustard. Yum!
Pesto is also fabulous.

Well I did a mustard cream sauce but unfortunately it was too much like eating straight cream which neither of us like. Better stick to good old cheese sauce!
