Cupcake cases vs muffin cases

I have to make some cupcakes too but I'm worried I've bought the wrong cases. I thought I picked up cupcake cases but I've bought muffin cases from tesco are they a lot bigger?

They're not quite the same shape, I find, but v similar volume. Both significantly bigger than fairy cake cases.
