I often wonder this too! I end up having sandwich thins most of the time for this reason. When all I really want is proper sized THIN bread!! Does it still exist even?!

Weight Watchers bread is super thin. The bread itself is hardly different to ordinary bread, but has so few calories per slice because the slices are so stingy!

I'm the opposite I think most bread is too thin now. I remember growing up in the 90s and we had thin, medium and thick slice. Now we don't seem to have thin but I think that the medium bread is like thin now and the thick is medium in most brands. Confused I'm always moaning about it Grin I like thick bread for toast but bread seems to be that thin it's like eating a cracker. 😂 I don't think thick bread is anywhere near as thick as it used to be.

My local Morrisons cuts their bread medium/thick. In my opinion it’s thin/medium. Unfortunately quality of most breads and its spongy texture makes it near impossible to cut thinly. I’ve got no problem at all in cutting sourdough bread that has springy texture and holds together much better than most of shop bought loaves(especially pre-packed ones)
