Sprinkles that don't dissolve

I am planning to make a vanilla sponge with coloured sprinkles running through the batter. However, on previous attempts my sprinkles have dissolved. Can anyone recommend a brand of sprinkles that will keep their shape when baked into a cake?

I ended up ordering special ones online, probably american, much stronger colours than the ones I could find in shops here. Dread to think what's in them but my daughter was so happy with the rainbow cakes she made it was totally worth it :)
May have been Betty Crocker? will have a dig through old emails to see if I can find anythign more useful
