We took our own nappies away, and I can't think of the name of the baby food in Portugal (we took some of our own, but not much) I am rushing out the door to work, but I'll have a think and come back.

We went to Portugal when DS1 was 9 months (over four years ago now so things may have changed). I can't remember the brand of babyfood but think it may have been the dreaded Nestle, so I suppose it would depend on how you felt about that. My DS1 was fine with the jars we bought out there, although there were some interested sardine combinations but he liked them fine, lots of fruit purees in big jars too which was handy. Being 9 months DS1 ate quite a bit of what we did so that helped too. I remember it being very civilised and Modello in Portomao (not far from Praia de Rocha) is the best supermarket I've ever been too and it would be worth a trip if you have transport.

Have a nice holiday.
