Vegan brownie recipe

I’ve been googling but I’m a bit overwhelmed.

Does anyone have a tried and tested vegan brownie recipe? Ideally a chewy rather than gooey one if that makes sense!

These ones are me go to! They use ‘flax eggs’ but flax is easy to find in most supermarkets now. They’re super good!

I've made these (with cranberries not peacans) I can't remember exact chewiness but they were eaten by my vegan friend and no one else noticed they were vegan! People have since requested the recipe which they haven't for my none vegan brownie recipe!

What section would you find flax "eggs" in?

TeddyIsaHe · 29/04/2018 09:59

It’s just ground flax, so it’ll be with the health food bit usually around the baking section.

Can I find it in Holland and Barrett if I can't find it in the supermarket?

this is the best recipe I have found. I use chocolate soya milk and add in chunks of chocolate and macadamia nuts too. They do take a little longer to cook than then recipe suggests (but that might be my oven) so I cover loosely with foil for the first 10 - 15 mins. .
