Any tofu lovers on here?

Hi, I've fallen in love with tofu but need ideas of what to do with it. Currently I marinate it in a mixture of maple syrup, lemon juice, soy sauce and paprika then coat in corn flour before frying. I serve with either rice or rice noodles and carrots, peppers and spinach. I can't eat garlic or onions so any recipes with that are out and I hate looking on Pinterest for stuff. Much prefer tried and tested things.

You can get Tofoo at Tesco. They do naked (plain) and flavoured. I've only tried the plain, I haven't heard good reviews about the flavoured.

Snuggly be careful if you marinade the tofu in oil because that stops it from soaking up the flavours of the other tastier ingredients . You can fry it in oil of course !

I marinate in soy sauce, maple syrup (I use Asda's own as is cheaper), lemon juice, chilli purée, sometimes ginger, sometimes paprika. Paprika is nicer and adds a lovely colour. I cook my veg in the leftover marinade then add the crispy tofu at the end.

That sounds lovely Literary You could also add turmeric for colour, I do that for my 'mock' scrambled eggs.
