What to do with duck eggs?

I've been given a dozen duck eggs and I've no idea how to use them up. I'll do a Victoria sponge tomorrow and maybe some buns with the children, but other than that I'm out of ideas. Can anyone suggest anything freeze-able??

Really? I had been told that they taste very strong just cooked, so I was thinking of baking them into something. I'll try scrambled tomorrow

They are very rich, they do not taste ducky or anything else weird.
I know what you mean though, I was given a turkey egg and had to be really brave to eat it (it was fine).

Ooh duck eggs are delicious poached or boiled as well! They have a much nicer tasting white, less “eggy”. Mmm fancy egg now...

My parents always seem to have 'strange' eggs - duck, goose, quail, Turkey etc
The other week they fave my DC scrambled eggs made with pheasant eggs!

OK, I love boiled eggs but I'm not very good at boiling them. Can someone tell me how to get a perfectly booked duck egg?

Duck eggs make the best creamiest custard, so use them in a baked custard open tart or as custard to serve with a fruit tart, or as creme anglaise sauce with poached fruit.

Duck eggs are superb.
I use them as hen eggs but so much nicer.

Grainne get your room temp eggs in a pan of cold water. Bring to the boil then take off the heat, leaving eggs in the hot water for a further 5 / 6 mins for a soft egg.

Parents are just rural. The local gatekeeper gave them the pheasant eggs as they were double yolkers and apparently no good for breeding.
