Pulled pork in a slow cooker?

My sons christening is coming up and we want to do pulled pork. We can't decide whether to do it the day before. Shred and refrigerate. Then reheat on the day again in the slow cooker - or do it over night in the slow cooker and shred it at the venue on the day.

We have several slow cookers that friends are lending. We can also take the slow cookers to the venue to plug in and leave during the ceremony.

Anyone got any experience/advice?

Take and shred there. It can be held warm for a couple of hours but reaheating is never quite as good.

Try the Slimming World recipe, it's great. Shred at the venue.
