So I've got in a bit of a rut dinner wise and we eat the same things most weeks - not helped by the fact that I've a three year old who changes her mind from day to day about what food she likes/hates, and a five year old who is pretty good for eating most things, but doesn't like spicy food at all.
I'm also pregnant with number 3, not due til November, but looking to get some ideas before then, and some practise in, on meals that I can have ready in freezer for days when baby won't be put down (I breastfed the other two, and hopefully will this one also). At the moment the only thing I really cook and freeze is that I do a kilo of mince at a time with veg etc, and then freeze three dinners worth so that does spaghetti bolognese or lasagne once a week for three weeks.
They both love pasta, rice, chicken, beef, ham, sausages, some fish (depending on the day for 3 year old!). Five year old will eat potatoes, 3 year old most often doesn't want it, or at least not mash or roast potatoes. Might eat it though in a pie or something?
Thanks for any ideas, I've tried googling but I'm a bit overwhelmed!
