Freezing potatoes?

I have about two thirds of a bag of potatoes left and don't want to end up throwing them. We've already got several pots of frozen mash in the freezer so don't want to make any more.

Can you freeze square potatoes? If so can I cook them all the way through or how would I go about it?

Any other suggestions on how to freeze left over potatoes?

Yes. I'd boil for about 3 minutes, then drain and spread on a lined baking tray. Once cool, freeze.

You can then roast from frozen

I also freeze jacket potatoes.
6 minutes in the microwave will heat them up ready to eat

That's a good idea surfing about jackets. Do you completely bake them first and then freeze once cool?

Yes bake and cool then freeze!
