Ready meal beef or chicken dinner

Much as I love freshly cooked chicken or silverside with gravy and steamed veg, it is very time consuming and leaves a heap of washing up. With that in mind what are the best ready meals of either/both? I didn't like Kershaw though have had worse, or the new Tesco value (Hearty and Co). Tesco Finest, M&S, Waitrose I've heard good things about? No doubt others.

Sadly I don't think there are any out there that are as good as the ones you make yourself as reheating the meat can dry it out and make the veg mushy.
That said, the M&S and Waitrose ones are ok but personally I wouldn't go down the value route as I just don't think the quality is there
Instead, could you consider roasting the joint yourself (maybe in a disposable roasting tray) and then buying ready prepared veg and gravy?

I like the chicken ones you buy raw as a breast joint with bacon/sausages/stuffing all in the tray ready to go, then some ready to steam veg and quickly chop some potatoes fairly small, toss in olive oil and seasoning and chuck straight in the oven - add some instant/premade gravy and you have a really low effort low mess roast that isn’t horrible reheated stuff!
