5 day old stew

It's another "would you eat it" thread I'm afraid!

I've no idea about the shelf life of things as I very rarely have any leftovers but I made a huge slow cooked vegetable and bean stew Sunday and put two tupperwares in fridge. Do you reckon DP and me could have them tonight? Been out every night this week so haven't had the chance.

I'll eat pretty much anything but even I probably wouldn't eat them. Do they smell ok?

Personally I wouldn't eat a stew without meat in, but I would eat a meat stew after 5 days, certainly. I would think that, provided it wasn't fizzy, it will be OK if fully heated through.

Yeah, it'd be fine. Just make sure its properly hot.

I would.

What 4 said. I'd eat the meat one but would be looking for fizzy bits on the top of a veg one before I made a decision.

Will inspect for fizzyness when I get home Smile

Didn't smell yesterday but then again my fridge is really, really cold so even stinky cheese doesn't really smell.
