Tasty meals that don't smell

I have a hobby that involves heavy breathing in a small room full of people I'm not related to, however I abhor bland food.

I've just had chicken with green beans, couscous, paprika, oregano and basil and I don't feel too smelly today but I will find it dull if I keep eating it.

Anyone got any more ideas?

No idea for meals, just wondering what this hobby of yours is? ConfusedGrin

Me too Lilies Grin

Is chewing gum an option?

Is it lunch or dinner? Sandwiches with various non smelly fillings?

Surely as long as you don't eat a lot of garlic or spices, you'd be fine? Lots of herbs have wonderfully strong flavours. I use lots of fennel, thyme, rosemary and sage in my cooking for example and have never worried about how I smell afterwards. Chicken roasted with fennel and lemon is fantastic for example. Similarly, most casseroles can have a lovely flavour without anything being too strong. And I often add things like star anise, ginger or cinnamon to stews for added flavour.

Or one of our favourite meals at the moment is Jamie Oliver's lamb chops with carrots and orange juice. We put garlic in, but that's not necessary. Very strong flavours from the caramalization.

Chewing gum isn't an option

Like the idea of the lamb with orange, and chicken with lemon

I had somehow forgotten about fruit flavours

Herbs! You can have
chicken with fresh tarragon
chicken or lamb with rosemary and lemon;
pork with sage and nutmeg and roasted pears,
lamb with mint, toasted almonds and apricots

colditz · 06/04/2018 15:59

Kateandme, those are some luscious ideas

Minapaws, fruit seems to be the missing ingredient to the dishes I've been making.

Red curry fried rice. Beautiful

Butterymuffin · 06/04/2018 20:28

How many days in the week is this an issue for? Shouldn't be too hard to get round.

colditz · 06/04/2018 20:56

Just 2 days, but I only have an hour to prep, cook, serve and eat it due to kids' clubs

Lastqueenofscotland, wouldn't curry be smelly?
