Canarian stew here (more of a soup)made of tomatoes, chickpeas, chorizo and spices, with crusty bread. How about you?

Battered fish, chips & peas.

We had a chorizo and broccoli pasta dish. Rather tasty!

Chicken and Prune Moroccan Stew with cous cous.

Was supposed to be fajitas but ended up parked outside the chip shop and couldn't resist!

My birthday, we went out for Indian. Last night smoked haddock in cheese sauce.

Oven chips, vegetable quarter pounder patty, peri beans 😋

Weiner schnitzel, fried sauerkraut with bacon, mashed potatoes, and peas

A roasted vegetable tart with baby spinach salad. It was delicious even if I do say so myself!

northendgal oooh I love a good schnitzel (taught to make them by my very exacting Austrian mil) please could I ask about the fried sauerkraut with bacon? How do you make that?

We just chop up a few slices of bacon , (and a cubed up apple if you wish), fry for about 2 minutes until the bacon is almost cooked.
Rinse about 2 or 3 cups of sauerkraut and add it in, it only takes a minute to heat through, and by the time the bacon has finished it's ready to eat .
Serve hot and dig in!

It was meant to be a caesar salad but I am feeling horrible so planning to go home from work straight to bed. Everyone can fend for themselves.

Breaded cod ( homemade) salad, baby new pots. Wine. Leftover EE's.

We had bbc easy chow mein for kids with some marinated chicken. It was really nice, the ‘sauce’ was so easy but yum!
