Hit me with your cherry recipes!

I adore cherries but they don't seem to be a very popular ingredient in ready made desserts for some reason.

Can any one recommend some recipes that aren't too tricky and celebrate the cherr y? There are heaps online but Im never sure how they'll turn out so prefer recommendations.

Clafoutis every time

Chocolate roulade with cherry filling. Sort of black forest gateau in a different shape.

Or, cherry pie.

Blondie got there before me. The best clafoutis is from scrumped cherries from the local black cherry tree on the green, mixed with my own sour cherries from my garden. Scrummy.

I love cherries too!
Each Christmas I make a Black Forest trifle with chocolate sponge, chocolate custard, kirsch-spiked cream and lots and lots of cherries!
