Bought a leg of lamb for Sunday, then saw full Gressingham ducks for half price, so got one of those too! I've never cooked duck before! Do i just roast it like a chicken?

amazing.

Pour boiling water (carefully!!!!) over the skin - watch it shrink and tighten, it's great fun- then pat completely dry, add a good handful of salt and rub into the skin, a bit of five spice seasoning if you have it and roast in the oven (google for timings)

Then shred and use as crispy shredded duck yum yum yum

*Worried - do they spit a lot then? I was going to put it in with the lamb. Will it make my lamb taste of duck?! 😂😂
