Easter brownies

Does anyone have a good recipe for brownies with Easter eggs - mini ones or creme eggs please?
My last batch of brownies seemed to take ages and then once they cooled were over cooked and grainy
I've seen a recipe for waitrose mini egg brownies but comments on the recipe aren't good
Any help greatly appreciated

I always make Nigella's emergency brownies and increase the quantities. It has choc chips but sure you could use mini eggs or similar mixed in it or on top.

Thanks. I may give those a go. I do like nigella recipes
Do you know which book it's in?

I have wondered how the eggs don't go grainy. I am wondering whether you could take the tray of brownies out partway through the cooking time and squodge creme egg halves in. As brownies don't bake the same way as cakes taking them out and putting them back in shouldn't matter.

Mary berry chocolate chip brownies. Google recipe- just add eggs instead of chocolate chips-foolproof

I second Mary berry's chocolate brownies so easy and works every time. Brownies going grainy usually means the sugar hasn't been properly mixed with the eggs ime.

Think the Nigella recipe is in her At my Table book. Is online too if you search which might be easier?

I find this recipe great for brownies. At Easter time I add halved mini creme eggs pushed into the top or scatter chopped mini eggs on top or in the mixture. Lovely sticky goey brownies!

Thanks.
I'll definitely try adding the eggs in part way - chocolate ones
honky thanks for the tip about the sugar. I was so disappointed with them and they took ages to cook so think we're overcooked and grainy Sad hopefully this weekends will be better
