Tell me your best slow cooker recipes

I’ve just bought a slow cooker after years of using an electric wok to do a similar job with stews etc - but I’m aware that the SC can be much more versatile than just a casserole pot and looking for inspiration. Going back to work next month after maternity leave so I’m after simple (ish) stuff I can leave on all day

Pork and chorizo casserole

1 pack of pork belly - skin removed and cubed)
200 g chorizo (chopped)
1 diced onion
1 diced carrot
1 tin of tomatoes
Stock cube
1 tin of butter beans
1 tbsps fresh or dry thyme
A bay leaf
1 table spoon on paprika
Salt and pepper
200ml water

Chuck it all in and leave for 8+ hours

Serve with mash or bread .

And split pea soup- just add green or yellow peas, an onion, bey leaf, a clove of garlic and stock to cover. Better if you've a ham knuckle to chick in too but not essential.

Brill, thanks - I love curry and the pork and chorizo sounds fab. Are there any good websites for recipes? Going back to work next week so the SC will be pressed into service a lot I think!

Is it just a slow cooker or does it pressure cook as well (Instant Pot).....
If it is just an SC, I would consider taking it back & changing it. I know that's not what you asked, but an Instant Pot is a game changer and will come into its own at the weekend.

Slow cooker lasagna. You just layer everything in (uncooked noodles, the fresh ones will turn to mush) and cook on low for 5 hours ish. There's millions of recipes just put slow cooker lasagna in Google search ☺

Watching with iterest. My swanky new pressure cooker is also a slow cooker (who ever thought it!?)!

This is fantastic, and very easy. All my family love it.
