6, 8, 10" deep cake tins that are all the SAME depth? 🎂

I'm going a bit mad on Google trying to find loose bottomed cake tins in 6, 8, 10" width, that are all the same depth. I'm finding lots where the 10 inch is 4 inch deep, 8 is 3 and 6 is 2.5, which is obviously going to create a problem when stacking as they won't all be the same height! Please can anyone recommend any?

If you search for 'wedding tin sets' rather than individual tins you'll find what you're looking for. I've seen some on eBay that are not too expensive. They tend not to be loose bottom though x

CakerBaker, I get where you are coming from, but actually the tiered cake doesn't look quite right if the cakes are all the same depth as the proportions look wrong. In terms of square tins, if the 6" square one on the top is the same depth as the 12" one on the bottom, either the bottom one looks like a pancake or the top one looks like a cobble-stone. You might be looking at round rather than square, but the same general principle will apply. And that is the reason that you have found the pans you have.

I believe they're all the same depth, they certainly look it lol. They're dishwasher safe too, which is a bonus :)

Google PME cake tins

Surely if you alter your mix to 6, 8 and 10 inch ratios they will rise to the same height anyway? I’ve made a fair few wedding cakes and they’ve always looked pretty good!!

Not loose bottomed but grease it well and line and that shouldn't be a problem.

Matilda1981/NannyR the Traditional Rich Fruit Cake recipes given within the carton for the Silverwood Multisize Cake Pan are deeper for the bigger cakes for the reason I gave in my earlier post.
