It's a long shot but does anyone still have last Saturday's Daily Telegraph? (think it was the Weekend Section). There was a recipe for Oat Cakes in there which I had intended to copy out and now it's gone to the big recycling centre in the sky . Made them last weekend and they were yum .
Go on, make a fellow mumsnetter's day!
TIA

Have you tried online?

OOh! They sound delicious and better than the ones I was after! . Thank you very much for posting that!

I've just found a scrap of paper where I scribbled down the recipe (had completely forgotten ), so I'm posting it here to share with everyone:

100g butter
50g caster sugar
100g rolled oats
50g plain flour
Preheat oven to 170degrees C.

Cream butter and sugar. Add oats/flour. Knead into dough. Roll out and cut into small shapes. Bake for about 20 mins. Leave to cool for 5 mins on baking sheet. Place on wire rack.

I made the Oat Breakfast Bars yesterday and they are delish! Didn't have sunflower seeds but used pumpkin seeds and a sachet of Food Doctor seed mix instead. Really nice and not too sweet either. DS1 and 2 enjoyed it warm from the oven yesterday and in lunchboxes today!

A hit !
