Stuff aubergines, quince, peppers. Cabbage and lamb mince stew - sounds revolting but was very tasty. Kofta, kibbeh. Moussaka.

Really quick & tasty!

Lamb and feta meatballs with pitta. Mix lamb mince, seasoning, juice of a lemon, a handful of mint, cubed feta and and egg yolk. Form into meatballs and grill. Lovely with a Greek salad and tzatziki.

Shepherds Pie. When I do it I drain off some of the fat after frying off the mince, as lamb can be a bit greasy. Then add about a glass of sherry to it before you finish cooking the meat off and let it cool before putting the potato on top (I usually cook off meat one day then add potato and reheat the next day. The sherry flavour (free of alcohol after cooking) cuts across the greasiness.

Sainsbury's lamb biryani is really good and the only way my daughter will eat lamb
