Hi all..

Just wondered if anyone had any idea's for a 2yr olds birthday party tea? I was thinking of doing a Teddy Bear's tea party so I was going to make teddy bear sandwiches and bicuits..

I was also thinking about providing a box for each child but have never done this before..is it a good idea or is it better to let the children/parents choose what there child can eat?
What things would you provide? We don't want to spend lots of money and waste loads of food as we are on a tight budget!

Also would like a couple of idea's for adult food..don't want to do loads....just a couple of things..I was thinking of hot sausage rolls/cheese and onion rolls and little cakes?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanx,

Jules xox

Me again! I've found it depends what time the party is! If it's obviously a meal time (e.g we went to one from 11-1) then you'll have to do more but if it's 2-4 say, you could get away with teddy themed things like those farleys biscuits or cut out your own. On the box front, I think that most 2 year olds are so fussy you're better off putting it all out and letting them choose otherwise you'll have loads of stuff you'll just have to chuck. HTH Good luck!

Easy things:

Babybels, breadsticks, packets of raisins/smarties, chunks of cheese, cherry tomatoes, grapes.

I agree with Tommy; letting the parents choose is best I would think too.
