Hi,

Its my sons 1st birthday in two weeks and we are keeping him off refined sugar for as long as we can.

I would like to bake a cake that still tastes delicious but doesn't have added sugar for his party for the babies.

Does anyone know a tried and tested recipe for a cake? I was looking for a banana and blueberry cake, (two of his fave fruits).

Thanks in advance.

Jamie Oliver's banana bread! I make it all the time (made some tonight actually). I find the recipe makes enough for a 1lb loaf and 12 mini muffins (I roughly half the baking time for the muffins and keep a close eye on them).

They have no sugar apart from 2tbsp of honey, which I think you could easily sub for maple or agave syrup for the babies.
