Just that really, do you have it with any carbs or do you count the hole bit as carbs?

Have mash & veg so yes double carbs!

UnimaginativeUsername · 25/02/2018 20:22

We have mash and veg with it (and gravy) because we don’t care about ‘double carbing’.

CherieBabySpliffUp · 25/02/2018 20:22

Funnily enough I cooked this tonight. I did roast potatoes and veg.

retirednow · 25/02/2018 20:22

Mash and onion gravy

ineedamoreadultieradult · 25/02/2018 20:22

Just vegetables here, the hole is the carbs.

Arapaima · 25/02/2018 20:23

No, it already has carbs so I’d just cook veg - maybe broccoli or beans beans or something.

SweepTheHalls · 25/02/2018 20:23

Baked beans and mash. Food of the Gods.

LikeTheShoes · 25/02/2018 20:23

Cauliflower cheese.

katand2kits · 25/02/2018 20:23

Mash, greens, onion gravy. We had this for lunch today.

AnnaMagnani · 25/02/2018 20:24

Green veg. It counts as the carbs. Usually put some apple slices in with the sausages.

Braveanddifferent · 25/02/2018 20:28

Interesting. Partner cooked it and counts hole as carbs so no mash with it. I'm starving now. I feel a portion of mash would have been welcome.

Personally I’m not a fan, so tend to only cook it once in a blue moon, but I go somewhere down the middle with swede and carrot mash, peas and onion gravy.

CoffeebyIV · 25/02/2018 22:18

Lots of dark green veg even better if cooked with some bacon

cjferg · 26/02/2018 19:23

Mash, green veg (peas, broccoli, cabbage, etc.) and plenty of onion gravy.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 26/02/2018 19:34

DH is actually obsessed with sweetcorn so we have that.

HarrietSchulenberg · 26/02/2018 19:46

Green veg and lots of lovely gravy.

BroomstickOfLove · 26/02/2018 19:48

Carrots, greens and onion gravy.

ShortandAnnoying · 26/02/2018 19:50

It doesn't need another carb but I think it's traditional to have spuds.

EllenJanethickerknickers · 26/02/2018 19:54

Carrot and swede crush, no potato, broccoli and onion gravy. I want some now...

EveryoneTalkAboutPopMusic · 27/02/2018 13:24

Lots and lots of veg and gravy. I’m not hungry after as we do have huge portions Grin
